Lakeland Massage COVID-19 Risk Assessment 2022
With the government guidelines changing, I have updated my risk assessment for 2022. The only main change is that I am no longer wearing gloves to treat. I am still doing everything I can to minimise any risk of transmission with thorough cleaning, sanitising and ventilation measures in place. Although no longer a legal requirement I am kindly asking you to wear a face covering in the public areas of Stricklandgate House.
STEPS I HAVE TAKEN TO KEEP YOU SAFE
COVID-19 symptom screening 24 hours before appointment.
Recording my temperature and checking for symptoms daily in line with NHS guidelines. I will cancel appointments and contact you if there is any cause for concern.
IIR mask worn and changed between clients.
Wipeable impenetrable covers on massage table, face cradle and bolsters to be sanitised before and after treatment.
Clean covers and towels used for each client (standard practise prior to COVID-19).
Thorough hand washing/sanitising before and after treatment and cleaning (standard practise prior to COVID-19).
All contact points sanitised and room ventilated between treatments.
Contactless payments and bank transfers preferred, with card machine fully sanitised.
Self-care advice and exercises sent via email to client to reduce face to face time.
Your contact details will be kept for 21 days to assist the NHS Test and Trace service.
CHANGES I NEED YOUR HELP WITH
Wash hands/sanitise thoroughly before and after the appointment.
Please wear a face covering if possible in public areas of the building. This does not need to be worn during the massage treatment.
Please let me know if you are experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms before the appointment. My cancellation policy will be waived.
If you have any queries or questions on the above please just let me know. You can call me on 07989 973644 or email me at katie@lakelandmassage.co.uk.
